Snowshoe Trails and Places in
Door County

| The Clearing |
All trails (2 miles) are open to snowshoeing. |
| On Fridays, throughout the months of January and February, you are invited
to join Naturalists, Paul Regnier and Karen Newbern as they explore the Ridges Sanctuary on snowshoes. Each week
they meet up with participants at 1 PM at the Upper Range Light in Baileys Harbor (8270 Hwy 57). Some loaner snowshoes
are available; but call ahead to reserve a pair - 920.839.2802. |
| Nature Conservancy |
All the lands within the county are open to snowshoeing but,
visitors must stay on trails. Mink River, Kangaroo Lake, Shivering Sands, and North Bay |
| Newport |
Upland Trail (2 miles), Fern and Lynd Point Trails (2.2 miles)
are dedicated snowshoe trails. These trails are groomed. |
| Peninsula |
Two miles of marked snowshoe trails. |
| Potawatomi |
Has no dedicated snowshoe trails, all trails are for skiing,
able to snowshoe off the trails. |
| Whitefish Dunes |
Has no officially dedicated snowshoe trails but, White trail
has been used in past years as the main snowshoe trail. Snowshoes allowed off the trails, except in the closed
areas. |
| Ridges Sanctuary |
All trails (5 miles) are open to snowshoeing. |
