Emerging out of the fog like the Lemond LaForge...

the Door County Compass, finding its way into the world of Web 2.0. By
now you may have counted us as missing-in-action. Actually,
we just grew out of our shoes and, the road beneath our feet changed!
In 1999 when we began this venture there were no blogs, podcasts, video-sharing or much of
a social network. The new Door County Compass 2.0 is all about the power
of we, being far greater than the power of me. So,
we are now in transition for the next few days. Much like spring
gardening there's raking, pruning and cultivating to be done. Some of
the links you click may not work. But we are rebuilding, section by
section and testing new features. Keep an eye out for several new
sister publications that are also in the works. This site will be
devoted to providing you with a hub of information and connections to
the people that make it unique - artists, poets, actors and musicians.
