Door County to experience Angel Breath
October 9, 2003
by Steve Kastner
SISTER BAY, WI - One
of Milwaukee's hottest new bands is bringing a musical breath of fresh air to Door County this Saturday evening,
October 11. Blending a show comprised of their own original works with a variety classic pop and rock tunes, served
up with unexpected vocal harmonies, "Angel Breath" gives audiences the feeling that just about anything
might happen onstage. Sound familiar?
Dig a little deeper and you'll find out why as you unroll the band's membership roster and review their individual
performance and recording credits. "Angel Breath" is built on the writing and performing skills of four
Wisconsin musical legends. Door County's favorite songwriter and performer, Sigmund Snopek
has developed an immense international audience and is highly acclaimed for both his solo projects and his band
work as a keyboardist with groups as diverse as the Violent Femmes, Cheap Trick and his own Snopek. Now he brings
that talent forth in "Angel Breath".
"Angel Breath" guitarist Royce Hall is another music monster, winning the Wisconsin Area Music Industry's (WAMI)
Guitarist of the Year award in 2001. Royce is also known for his work with the popular band "The Mosleys".
Keedy drives
the vocals in "Angel Breath", first gaining national attention as a pop solo artist in the 1980's. She
brings a powerful voice and some exciting songwriting talents to the group. Percussionist John
Seydewitz rounds out the "Angel Breath" roster on drums.
"Angel Breath" makes its Door County debut at J J's on Bay Shore Drive in Sister Bay this Saturday, October
11 from 9 PM to 1 AM. For more information, call 920.854.4513.
